Artist Statement
My body of work questions the role of the digital world in our lives as we become tied to the web. I explore the tech and electronic world, systems, structures and elements that have created a new global landscape, a paradigm for personal, social, and political ever evolving world. Analogies and mutual relations between the nervous system and computer systems can often be found in my pieces.
WAIL relates to the idea of data transference, time, impermanence and transformation. The materials are meant to create a sensory experience with structures and different techniques as AI becomes more human-like and integrated into our daily life.
